Event Details

While USC Greeks are constantly being recognized for academic, philanthropic, athletic, and social achievements, these accomplishments have been masked by a wave of negative media attention surrounding recent scandals that have plagued our entire USC Community. It is up to us as students and leaders of our campus to combat this negative perception, and what better way to combat this then by throwing a huge social event that all USC students, both greek and non-greek, can benefit from?

The Comedy Fundraiser presented by Greeks Against Sexual Assault is just one small step we can take towards a much greater goal - creating a general cultural change in the Greek and USC community - of increasing awareness of sexual violence and assault. Our mission is to not only raise money for and combat an issue that has gone unnoticed too long in our community, but also to include ALL students, greeks and non-greeks alike, in an event that will make a huge impact on USC. All, and I mean every single dollar we generate from this event, will be donated to RAINN - the nation's largest anti sexual-violence organization. For more info, visit their website at http://www.rainn.org and read some staggering statistics that will compel you to join this movement.

Entry to this event is completely FREE, and we want all students, greeks and non-greeks alike, to attend! The USC administration has been extremely supportive, pulling some big strings and allowing us to host this event at Tommy's Place -  USC's newest and most popular performance venue, located in the Ronald Tutor Campus Center at Traddies, which is open to all ages and serves food and drinks (alcohol 21+). Please note that the eventbrite ticket/donation does not guarantee entrance to the event, since Traddie's has a maximum capacity of around 270 people, so make sure to get there on time since entrance is on a first-come, first-serve basis.

There is a suggested donation of 10$ at the door, but you can also donate through our Eventbrite page. All donations collected through eventbrite will be donated to RAINN, so donate now! Help us make a huge impact in the USC community and prove to the nation that USC is indeed the premier private university of the West Coast.

Details of the event:

- Introduction and 5 minute speakout by IFC on the prevalence of sexual assault in our Greek community and why we are committed to fighting it
